Frank J. Glavan - President

Frank Glavan grew up in Euclid, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. He attended Columbus State University and studied Mechanical Engineering. He also joined the National Guard. Frank developed his specialty in hydraulics while in the National Guard and was a valued troubleshooter on large howitzer guns.

After graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn. She was the Assistant Director of Dormitories at Ohio State University.

After tiring of the unbearable Midwestern winters, Frank and Carolyn decided they would leave Columbus for a warmer climate. Using his growing expertise in advanced hydraulics, Frank landed a job with a Tampa company that worked with the space program. He worked on large jet engine cooling systems. His computer experience and knowledge were necessary parts of his engineering career.

In 1996, Frank decided to establish a computer services company and set up shop in his home. He handled the entire business from accounting, bookkeeping, collections, sales and the technical duties. He wanted a full-service company that could build the hardware, create the software and keep their networks up and running. Business was on the rise and in 2000 he outgrew the home office. The current Citrus Park Computer site is situated in a couple of one-store white buildings on Ehrlich Road. The company is made of up of an abundant amount of entrepreneurial energy in a community that is growing rapidly.

Frank played a key role in the current and expected growth of the community. He committed thousands of hours to the Citrus Park Village Plan, this community’s development outline for the future. This outline and plan will be used in numerous other communities throughout the Tampa Bay area. For four years, he chaired the Village Plan's steering committee. This leadership role has earned him much admiration.

In 2002, the Tampa Bay Business Journal honored him with its "40 under 40" award, given to the area's most promising young businesspeople.

Frank currently lives in Fawn Ridge with his wife Carolyn and their two beautiful children Kristin and Kyle. He is an active member of Keystone United Methodist Church and plans on being in this community for years to come.
